Registration and cancellation policy
The present terms and conditions apply to Access, Lift & Handlers’ Conference & Awards 2016, taking place on October 11, 2016 at The Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel, Miami.
How to book
Participants can buy places to attend the Access, Lift & Handlers’ Conference & Awards 2016 via the website www.alh-ca.com
Payment is made by debit card or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) as part of the registration process. No registration is effective until payment has been received and processed successfully.
Fees paid by participants cover, as appropriate, admission to the Access, Lift & Handlers’ Conference & Awards 2016, all pre-dinner drinks, three-course dinner with wine and the awards presentation ceremony. All prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
Confirmation of registration
An email confirmation of registration and acknowledgement of payment will be sent to each registrant upon receipt of payment, together with an invoice. Attendees are asked to bring a copy of the confirmation.
Changes of participant
Organisations or companies that have purchased places can change names of participants until September 11, 2016 for no extra charge.
Cancellation policy - Cancellation by the participant
Participants can cancel their registrations until September 11, 2016. Until that date, payments received by KHL will be refunded (limited to the amount paid by the participants), minus a fee of $70 to cover administrative and banking costs. Refunds will be handled after the event.
In case of cancellation after October 11, 2016 or, in case of no-show, no refunds will be made.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellation by the organiser
If the organizer cancels the event for any reason other than force of nature, registration fees are refunded to registered participants. However, refunds are limited to the amount paid by the participants. The organizer is not liable for any other loss or expenses incurred by participants as a consequence of the cancellation.
In the event that the ALH Conference & Awards would be cancelled, postponed or relocated on account of fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, decisions taken by the national and/or local authorities, weather conditions, strike, lock-out, labour disturbances, explosions, sabotage, accident, terrorism, war, acts of God or any other causes or casualties beyond the control of the organiser, no refund shall be made. Participants to the ALH Conference & Awards waive all claims for damages in this case.
